MCTV is now accepting submissions for on-camera personalities, VJs, hosts, and event performers to appear in upcoming productions including MCTV Spring Break: Live from RetroSynth Shores!
We’re looking for big personalities who bring the vibe of classic MTV, Nickelodeon, and late-night TV into today’s world - people who can hype a crowd, interview artists, host games, or entertain families on-site and on-camera.

MCTV
Music Video Submission
MCTV is now accepting music video submissions for two categories:
1. MCTV Exclusive Submissions
Exclusive submissions are for artists who want their video to appear only on MCTV. By submitting exclusively your video will be featured in the MCTV Exclusive category.
All artists on MCTV receive the same share of ad revenue once available, but exclusive artists also become eligible for:
- Placement in future films, shows, and productions from Midnight City Studios.
- Expanded support and representation from the studio.
- Opportunities for digital and physical music sales.
- Potential merchandise collaborations.
- Additional financial opportunities as MCTV grows.
You always keep 100% ownership rights and may request removal at any time.
2. Independent Music Showcase
This category highlights independent artists who want to showcase their music to MCTV’s worldwide audience without exclusivity.
- Videos remain available for use on other platforms.
- Artists keep full rights to their content.
*Video Requirements
- Style: Must fit synthwave or related sub-genres (retrowave, darkwave, outrun, etc.).
- Quality: High-definition (HD).
- Length: Ideally 2–5 minutes.
- Formats: MP4, MOV, or AVI.
*How to Submit
- Send a YouTube or Vimeo link, or email a downloadable link to info@midnightcitystudios.com
*Submission Guidelines
- Ensure high-quality audio and video.
- Provide a short description: artist name, song title, and credits.
- Include proof of permissions/rights if third-party content is used.
- Display the artist name and song title within the video whenever possible.
There is no limit on the number of submissions; send as many as you like. We look forward to featuring your work on MCTV!

Video/Film/Shorts/Game Trailer Submissions
Welcome to MCTV! By submitting your content to MCTV, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These guidelines ensure that we maintain a consistent and enjoyable experience for our audience while respecting the rights of our content creators.
1. Content Requirements
- Theme: All submitted content must be 80s, 90s, or retro futuristic in nature. We celebrate nostalgia and the futuristic visions inspired by these eras.
- Prohibited Content: We will not accept any submissions that include political messaging, commentary on current world events, or any content that does not align with our thematic focus.
2. Rights and Ownership
- Content Ownership: Creators retain 100% ownership of their submitted content. You grant MCTV a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content on our platform.
- Removal of Content: Creators can request the removal of their content from MCTV at any time by contacting us at midnightcityonlinesubmissions@gmail.com. We will process removal requests within 30 days.
3. Submission Process
- Submission Methods: Videos can be submitted via YouTube or Vimeo links, or by emailing a downloadable link to midnightcityonlinesubmissions@gmail.com.
- Unlimited Submissions: There is no limit to the number of video submissions per creator. We encourage you to submit as much content as you wish.
4. Content Use and Revenue Sharing
- Non-Commercial Use: Until ad integration is in place, MCTV will not generate revenue from your content. Once ad integration begins, revenue will be shared with content creators as per the terms set out in our Revenue Sharing Agreement.
- Revenue Sharing: MCTV is committed to offering competitive revenue sharing terms. Creators will receive 90% of ad revenue generated from their content, with MCTV retaining 10%.
5. Community Standards
- Respectful Content: All content must adhere to community standards. We do not tolerate hate speech, explicit content, or any material that could be deemed offensive or inappropriate.
6. Amendments
- Changes to Terms: MCTV reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Creators will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the new terms.
